What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. Kira also uses related technologies such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs). We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies let the platform recognize your device between visits, keep you signed in, remember choices you have made, and measure how the product is performing so we can improve it.

How Kira uses cookies

We use cookies for a limited set of purposes that fall into the categories below. We do not use cookies to read the content you create inside Kira, such as your emails, documents, notes, or call transcripts.

  • Keeping you authenticated and protecting your session from misuse.
  • Remembering interface preferences such as dark mode, sidebar state, and language.
  • Measuring feature usage and performance so we can prioritize improvements.

Managing your preferences

You can change which non-essential cookies you allow at any time through the cookie banner or your account privacy settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although strictly necessary cookies are required for the platform to function and disabling them may break sign-in and other core features.

Global Privacy Control

Where required by law, Kira honors browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology and legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the product. Questions can be sent to privacy@kira.ai.
