Commercial Consumer Policy

Additional terms and expectations that apply to organizations and business customers using Kira, including responsibilities, data ownership, and service commitments.

Scope

This policy applies to organizations, teams, and other business customers ("Business Customers") who purchase or use Kira for commercial purposes. It supplements our Commercial Terms of Service and Usage Policy.

Account responsibilities

  • You are responsible for managing your team members’ access and for promptly removing access when it is no longer needed.
  • You must ensure that everyone using your account complies with our Usage Policy.
  • You are responsible for the configuration of your agents, automations, and integrations.

Data ownership

As between you and Kira, you own the content you submit ("Customer Data") and the outputs generated for you. We process Customer Data only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

No training on your business content

We do not use Business Customer content to train our models. Model improvement is performed only on data you explicitly choose to contribute.

Acceptable use

Business use of Kira is subject to the same prohibitions set out in our Usage Policy. You are additionally responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in which you and your customers operate.

Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information using at least the same care it uses for its own, and will use it only to perform under the agreement. This includes your Customer Data and our non-public product and security information.

Availability and support

We aim for high availability and provide support through the channels associated with your plan. Customers on eligible plans may receive a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with defined uptime targets and support response times.

Billing and renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically for the term you selected unless cancelled before the renewal date. Usage-based charges are billed in arrears. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.

Termination and data export

On termination you may export your Customer Data for a limited period, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our retention practices. To discuss enterprise terms, contact support@kira.ai.
